The basis of Esthec is a liquid material made of 25 ingredients including biobased resins, natural fibers, minerals and colour pigments; 25% of which are recycled materials. Esthec is a thermoset product, different from all the others on the market that are thermoplastic product (PVC-based). Those being thermoplastic materials, containing PVC, or wood, which is one of the most beautiful and most impressive material Mother Nature has ever created, but was never intended to service as a decking application. Esthec is a sophisticated decking application with a thickness of 6 mm, which weighs 7.8 kg per square meter. Its viscous-elastic properties enables a high wear resistance. The user experiences a splinter free deck which feels comfortable barefoot. Esthec Nautical Decking is resistant to most common oils and greases, is easy to clean and it does not absorb water.
